சுந்தரர் தேவாரம்
தலம்    திருநின்றியூர்
பண்    நட்டராகம்

திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

வாயார் மனத்தால் நினைக்குமவருக்கு அருந்தவத்தில்
தூயார் சுடுபொடி ஆடிய மேனியர் வானில் என்றும்
மேயார் விடை உகந்து ஏறிய வித்தகர் பேர்ந்தவர்க்குச்
சேயார் அடியார்க்கு அணியவர் ஊர் திருநின்றியூரே 7.19.10

Thiruchirrambalam

Meaning of the Prayer Song:

 He is in the words; 
He is the Virtuous in the great austerity for those who think in their mind;
He is smeared with the burnt ash in the form;
He is in the supreme abode ever;
He is the able, Who fondly rides the bull;
He is remote to those who ignore;
He is intimate to the devotees;
His town is Thiruninriyur.

2.  manaththAl ~ninaikkumavarukku aru~nthavaththil thUyAr
The Form of Lord Shiva itself is blessing with wisdom.
Hence He is the sought after by all the ascetics.

3.  viDai uka~nthu ERiya viththakar 
c.f. a. அயிராவணம் ஏறாது ஆனேறு ஏறி

b. தகரியும் பரிமாவும் தேரும் உகந்தேறாதே
இடபமுகந்து ஏறியவாறு எனக்கறிய இயம்பேடி
தடமதில்கள் அவைமூன்றும் தழலெரித்த அந்நாளில் 
இடபமதாய்த் தாங்கினான் திருமால் காண் சாழலோ - திருவாசகம்
