ಒಡೆಯರಿಲ್ಲದ ಮನೆಯ ತುಡುಗುಣಿ ನಾಯಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ
ನೀನಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಮನೆಯ ಹೋಗನು ಸಂಗಯ್ಯಾ
ಶ್ವಪಜೋಪಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಕೂಡಲ ಸಂಗಯ್ಯ, ನೀನಿದ್ದವನೇ ಕುಲಜನು

Meaning of the Prayer Song:

 Like the stray dog that enters a house without a owner,
oh Father at the confluence, I will not enter the house without You.
May they be the unclean folks, Oh Kudalasangayya, 
one who has You is the one of good clan!
