வஞ்சனையார் ஆர் பாடுஞ் சாராத மைந்தனைத்
துஞ்சிருளில் ஆடல் உகந்தானைத் தன் தொண்டர்
நெஞ்சிருள் கூரும் பொழுது நிலாப்பாரித்து
அஞ்சுடராய் நின்றானை நான் கண்டது ஆரூரே.

Meaning:
The Unique One Who does not side with any of them
who have deception in them, the One Who enjoys
dance in the darkness, when the servants are 
afflicted with darkness in the mind the One Who
stands like the moon - as the cool luminance,
Him where I saw was in thiruvArUr.

Notes:
1. When the devotees are into any darkness in mind,
the Lord shiva comes as the moon throwing enough 
light, still not burning out.
