சிந்தை வாய்தலுள் தான் வந்து சீரியன்
பொந்துவார் புலால் வெண்தலைக் கையினன்
முந்தி வாயதோர் மூவிலை வேல் பிடித்து
அந்தி வாயதோர் பாம்பர் ஐயாறறே.

The Perfect One Who came to be got by the mind,
Having in hand the white fleshy skull with holes (eyes, mouth etc.),
Holding the trident that has protruding teeth (mouth),
Having the snake of evening like (red) mouth
- It is the Lord of thiruvaiyARu.
