அருமறையனை ஆணொடு பெண்ணனைக்
கருவிடம் மிக உண்ட எம் கண்டனைப்
புரி வெண் நூலனைப் புள்ளிருக்கு வேளூர்
உருகி நைபவர் உள்ளம் குளிருமே.

Translation of song:

Chanter of rare vedas;
One Who is both male and female;
One with the throat that ate off very much the black poison;
One with twine white (sacred) thread;
Lord of thiruppuLLirukkuvELUr 
- one who melts their mind will be cool!

Notes:
1. thiruppuLLirukkuvELUr is now called vaiththIshvaran kOyil.
It is the place where sambathi, jaTayu (puL), rig veda (irukku)
and murugan (vEL) worshipped Lord shiva and hence
the name thiruppuLLirukkuvELUr.
