Meaning of the Prayer Song:

Oh Shiva, "I am Your slave", is my regular update to You.
You are also aware that I am wandering around without a refuge!
There is no other thing, oh Lord, that I want to plead to You
- out of compassion, accept me - the one in miserable state
- into Your Refuge enclave!

 Notes:

1. nivedyam - making known; sambhram - wander.
2. This song reflects the same emotions expressed by
Manikkavasagar in Nithal Vinnappam
