ThiruppaNi - thirumIyachchUr
thirumIyachchUr is one of the temples sung by both saints
thirunyAnachampan^dhar(1) and appar(2). This is near
pEraLam in the mayilAduthuRai - thiruvArUr bus route. One has to get
down in pEraLam and walk 1 km to reach this temple.
For the lalithAmbikA samEtha mEganAtha swamy temple of
thirumIyachchUr Sri LalithAmbika Seva Sangam is trying to do the
renovation service and mahA kumbAbishEkam. The last mahA kumbAbishEkam
was held 40 years ago and so the temple requires to be renovated. On
1.7.1998 the renovation service started with pAlasthApanam.
