திருஞானசம்பந்தர் திருக்கடைக்காப்பு தலம் திருமழபாடி பண் கௌசிகம் மூன்றாம் திருமுறை திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் கலையினான்மறையான் கதியாகிய மலையினான் மருவார் புரமூன்றெய்த சிலையினான் சேர் திருமழபாடியைத் தலையினால் வணங்கத் தவம் ஆகுமே. திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் thirunyAna camban^dhar thirukkaDaikkAppu thalam thirumazapADi paN kaucikam mUnRAm thirumuRai thiruchchiRRambalam kalaiyinAnmaRaiyAn gadhiyAkiya malaiyinAn maruvAr puramUnReydha cilaiyinAn cEr thirumazapADiyaith thalainAl vaNaN^gath thavam AkumE. thiruchchiRRambalam Meaning: Lord of the artful four vedas; Lord of the mountain that is the (covetous) destination (kayilAyam) ; Having the bow that burnt three towns of those who did not fall in line; Saluting His thirumazapADi with the head, becomes the austerity. Notes: 1. Austerity can be simple too ! Something that the common people in the household can also do.
