Story of a pearl in river

Notes: 1. The poet sees a pearl in the sand heap of the river kAviri. He thinks, "The pearls would be found in the ocean, but how did it come in to kAviri river ?". There comes the story of that pearl in the rich visualization of this young poet ! 2. viDal - fault / poison; arai - hip; veRpu - mount; araiyan - king; pAvai - girl; aDal - powerful / combative; pali - alms (begging); aDikaL - reverend; thirai - waves; kaN^gul - night.
