திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் 
 
ஒன்றே நினைந்திருந்தேன் ஒன்றே துணிந்தொழிந்தேன் 
ஒன்றேஎன் உள்ளத்தின் உள்ளடைத்தேன் - ஒன்றேகாண் 
கங்கையான் திங்கட் கதிர்முடியான் பொங்கொளிசேர் 
அங்கையாற் காளாம் அது.

Meaning of Arputha Thiruvanthathi
	Only one I keep thinking; Only one I concluded 
to pursue; Only one I have locked inside the heart of 
my heart; Only one - that is being the slave of the Lord 
of ganga, Adorned with radiant moon, Holding the brilliant 
light (fire) in the beautiful hand ! 
 
Notes
1. How could one be a sincere devotee ? Who else can better 
explain than the lady who asked for the appearance that one 
dreads to have, in order to freely server the Lord ?! 
   All thoughts are It; Committed to It with whole heartedly, 
well conceived and concluded; The core of the heart revolves 
around the God - always; It brings joy to be the slave of 
that Supreme and only that Supreme - then certainly it is 
sincerity - The dignity one has to look up to.
