Meaning

Oh the shameless, what do you do with the shivering life? Getting to the cemetery is a fact of the matter. If the One, Who ate the poison of the ocean as the ambrosia, forsakes, the body is something looked at with aversion by the town.

பொருளுரை

நடுங்கி வாழும் வாழ்வினைக் கொண்டு நாணமற்றவர்களே என் செய்கின்றீர்கள்? சுடுகாடு சேர்வது உறுதி! கடலின் நஞ்சினை அமுதமாக உண்டவர் கைவிட்டால் இவ்வுடலானது ஊரார் வெறுக்கத்தக்க பண்டமாகக் (பிணமாகக்) கிடக்கும்.

Notes

1. உடலைப் பேணுதலிலேயே காலத்தை வீணாக்காதீர். இவ்வுடலானது ஒரு நாள் உயிர் பிரிந்த பொழுது ஊரார் பிணம் என்று சொல்லி வெறுக்கத்தக்க பொருளாகக் கிடக்கும். (அதன் முன் சிவபெருமானைப் போற்றுங்கள்.) 2. நடலை - நடுக்கம்; சொற்பிரமாணம் - உறுதியான மொழி; முனி - சினங்கொள்ளும்/வெறுக்கும்.
