Meaning of Thevaram

Getting rid of the noisy words of dusty mat clad jains and budhdhists, reach to the Feet parallel and get uplifted! There is the Magnanimous along with the Lady of great charity at the prosperous town of thirukkazumalam where the dense gardens grow!

பொருளுரை

தூசி படிந்த பாயை உடுத்த சமணர் மற்றும் பௌத்தர்களின் ஆரவாரமான சொற்களை நீக்கி திருவடி இணையை அடைந்து உய்யுங்கள்! கரிய சோலைகள் வளர்கின்ற திருக்கழுமலமாகிய வளமிக்க திருநகரில் பெரிய அறத்தைச் செய்யும் உமையம்மையுடன் பெருந்தகையாகிய சிவபெருமான் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்!

1. பேரறம் - உயிர்களை உய்விக்கும் பொருட்டு சத்தியானது சிவத்தினின்று வெளிப்பட்டுச் செயல்படுவது கருதுக. 2. தார் - தூசி; தட்டுடை - பாயுடை; ஆர் - ஆரவாரம்; கார் - கருமை.
