திருஞானசம்பந்தர் தேவாரம் தலம் : பொது பண் : காந்தாரபஞ்சமம் மூன்றாம் திருமுறை பஞ்சாக்கரத் திருப்பதிகம் திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் கொங்கலர் வன்மதன் வாளி ஐந்து; அகத்து அங்குள பூதமும் அஞ்ச; ஐம்பொழில்; தங்கரவின் படம் அஞ்சும்; தம்முடை அங்கையில் ஐவிரல்; அஞ்செழுத்துமே. 3.22.5 திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் thirunyAnacamban^thar thEvAram thalam : pothu paN : gAndhAra panycamam Third thirumuRai panycAkkarath thiruppathikam thirucciRRambalam koN^galar vanmathan vALi ain^thu; akaththu aN^guLa bUthamum anyca; aimpozil; thaN^garavin paDam anycum; thammuDai aN^kaiyil aiviral; anycezuththumE. 3.22.5 thirucciRRambalam Meaning: Five are the floral arrows of harsh cupid; Five are the elements inside; Five are the lands; Five are the hoods of the snake that resides; Five are the fingers in the hand; Five are the (holy) syllables! பொருளுரை: வன்மையுடைய மன்மதனின் பூங்கணைகள் ஐந்து; உள்ளிருக்கின்ற பூதங்களும் ஐந்து; பொழில்கள் ஐந்து; அங்கிருக்கின்ற பாம்பின் படம் ஐந்து; தம்முடைய கரத்தில் விரல்கள் ஐந்து; (மந்திரத்) திருவெழுத்துக்களும் ஐந்தே!
