இமையவர்கள் நறுமணம் செய்து, நாள்தோறும் மலர்தூவ, ஈசனும், எம்பெருமானுமானவர் இனிதாக உறையும் இடமாவது, நாள்தவறாமல் யோசனை தூரம் சென்று பூக்கொணர்ந்து (சம்பாதியும் சடாயுவும்) வழிபாடு செய்து மகிழ்ந்திருந்த திருப்புள்ளிருக்குவேளூர் ஆகும்.
