Notes: 1. thirumuRai pleads, "Oh God, even Your anger is tolerable but it can certainly not be tolerated if You ignore us !" The peerless glory of our Lord is well known to us. Still how sincerely are we utilizing the time given to us for the worship of God ? The syndrome of "time-pass" and "ignoring" are very dangerous. They would push down unless one carefully hinges on to the uplifting efforts. Having known the glorious uplifting Feet of the Supreme does it make any sense to ignore the same and fall into the pit ?! Those who realize the importance of time and channelize their efforts judiciously would be the ones who benefit ultimately. 2. This point can never be under-stressed, that is why all our great saints drive in the importance of focussing on God. c.f. "n^ALAya pOgAmE n^anychaNiyum kaNDanukkE ALAya anbu cheyvOm" - sambandhar, "perumpaRRap puliyUrAnaip pEsAdha n^ALellAm piRavA n^ALE" - appar, "pizaippanAgilum thiruvaDip pizaiyEn" - sun^dharar, "kAlamuNDAgavE kAdhal cheydhu uymmin" - mANikka vAsakar. 3. The pradhosha vrata (siddhanta/Pradhosham.html ) is the plead to forgive the worst sin of ignoring the God.
