திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் 

உற்றா ரிலாதார்க் குறுதுணை யாவன ஓதிநன்னூல்
கற்றார் பரவப் பெருமை யுடையன காதல்செய்ய
கிற்பார் தமக்குக் கிளரொளி வானகந் தான்கொடுக்கும்
அற்றார்க் கரும்பொருள் காண்கஐ யாறன் அடித்தலமே. 		4.92.13

uRRAr ilAdhArkku uRuthuNai Avana Odhi n^annUl 
kaRRAr paravap perumai uDaiyana kAdhal cheyya
kiRpAr thamakkuk kiLaroLi vAn^akan^thAn koDukkum 
aRRArkku arumporuL kANga aiyARan aDiththalamE

thiruchchiRRambalam 

Meaning:
The trusted support for those who do not have 
anybody as kin, the glorious for those who learnt
good scriptures to praise, the provider of splendid
superior world for those who love, the great wealth
for the impoverished are the Feet of the Lord of 
thiruvaiyARu.

Notes:
1. Who else other than the God, Who ever stays
as dependable support to us, a better relative ?
2. Because the scholars praise those Peerless Feet
do not get any more fame, but by praising those
the scholars gets glory for their words !

3. The Feet of the Lord is the wealth that
would be permanent. (c.f. chiRRambal mEya
chelvan kazalEththum chelvam chelvamE - sambandhar)
4. aRRAr can be interpreted as paRRaRRAr (renounced).
For those who have chopped off all their interest in the 
worldly impermanent things, the only thing that is the
treasure they pursue, enjoy and value is the God. 
Isn't It that rarest of the rare to get ?!
