Fools don't and wise do chant namaHshivAya

(However) wise celestials worshipped and for them poison ate throat Lord is namaHshivAya. Notes: 1. Those of narrow mind full of dogma do not worship Lord shiva and they only talk as if great. Whereas the wise know the worth of the God and they worship the Lord chanting namaHshivAya and get blessed. 2. maNDai - bowl; kaiyarkaL - of the discipline; (c.f. kai thAn n^ekiza viDEn - thiruvAcakam) miNDar - dogmatic; viravuthal - to hail; vinycai - skilled/wise.
