திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் 

உன்னிஇரு போதுமடி பேணுமடி யார்தமிடர் ஒல்கஅருளித்
துன்னியொரு நால்வருடன் ஆல்நிழலி ருந்ததுணை வன்றனிடமாங்
கன்னியரொ டாடவர்கள் மாமணம் விரும்பியரு மங்கலம்மிக
மின்னியலும் நுண்ணிடைநன் மங்கையரி யற்றுபதி வேதிகுடியே. 		3.78.7

Meaning:
Meditating both times (morning and evening), the devotees, who heed 
the Feet of the Lord, removing their hurdles, the Guardian sat 
beneath the banyan along with the four (sanaka, sanandhana, sanAthana, 
sanath kumArar) who sought out to Him. Virgins and men desirous of 
glorious married life enacting great virtuous deeds (of devotion), the 
thunder slender girls living town is thiruvEdhikuDi, the Lord's place.

Notes:
1. As a very specific meaning the first line also could be viewed in 
conjunction with the second. It will then indicate the hard seeking
the four sages did to get rid of their hurdle of not getting the 
essence of supreme knowledge and the Grace the Lord did to drive that 
trouble off sitting with them blessing them with the Supreme knowledge
beneath the banyan tree.
2. This padhikam is sung to get married soon. As per astrology 7th 
place is the kalatra sthAnam. In the vEdhikuDi padhikam of nyAna 
sambandhar this song that indicate the wedding austerity comes as the
