செப்ப நெஞ்சே நெறிகொள் சிற்றின்பம்
துப்ப னென்னா தருளே துணையாக
ஒப்ப ரொப்பர் பெருமான் ஒளிவெண்ணீற்
றப்பர் சோற்றுத் துறைசென் றடைவோமே. 			1.28.1

Meaning:
Oh mind ! Instead of saying, "I will enjoy" the small (temporary) 
happiness that came in proper way, if you take it up with the Grace of 
God, the Lord will accept that. That Father with splendid Holy Ash - 
His thiruchchoRRuththuRai, we go.

Notes:
1. It could also be interpretted as instead of enjoying the transient 
happiness, take the company of the Divine Grace. Only the Lord is 
equivalent to Himself (opparoppar).
