the Lord who live in thillai (1). They are the devotees who do the admirable
service to the Dancing Deity. Taken the penance of slavery with the springing
love to Lord shiva. Doing the holy tasks in the temple, performing the
austerous worships, praising the God with the holy vEdhas, they do all the
required sacred services for His abode at thillai. Doing the rituals that
pave the way for the enlightenment of the self, have learnt the four
vEdhAs and its six sub-scriptures. Disciplined. Yearning for the wealth that
is Holy Ash. Boon they look forward is the love for the Lord. Excelling in
charity and austerities. Leading the principled family life. The vEdhic
chanters of cool loveful heart. They, the blessed, for worshipping the
Dancing Marvel that dances beyond the words of praise in the cosmos. If the
Lord Himself give their reference as the first to start chun^dharar's(2)
thiruththoNdaththokai (3) what a coveted service is theirs. Let the
worship of thillai vAzan^dhaNar n^AyanAr for the Lord of thillai stay in the
mind.
